God has made you strong in some area, perhaps by experience or age. Now, how do you respond to others who who face challenges in their lives? Do you criticize those who have similar or different experiences? Do you use the strength God has given you to uplift others? If you can do that, you will come a long way, not only helping others to be strong, but building on your own spiritual strength.

If the Lord permits you to see the rising of the sun, take His presence with you wherever we go. You need to include God in your plans and ask Him to lead and you follow His direction. You need to listen to His voice and be obedient to His written instructions. If you do these things, God will bless your life and open new doors of opportunities. Be strong and courageous, God is with you this day.
Joshua 1:6-96 “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWJycJx-1Co I become what I think about. If I allow my mind to stay full of worries, cares, doubts, negative thinking and songs, evil, worldliness and gossip, I will start to reflect that in my life. If I allow my mind to be full of hope, joy forgiveness, patience, love, peace and positive thinking and songs, I will start to reflect that in my life. My mind is powerful. I need to feed it with positive things.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. Positive Songs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMbGIhSs750 When the outlook in our lives is not looking good, we should not fret. We need a change of perspective to realize that God sees tomorrow more clearly than can see yesterday. The future is completely in His hands. When we are going through our waters and fire, God will be with us, and he is able to deliver. God who spoke the world into existence in six days, has the ability to do little things in our lives.
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. People find joy and fulfillment in the big things of life, but the little things that so often go unnoticed can also bring joy. A flower, a song, words of comfort, encouragement and hope, though little they may seem to some, they can change the night to day in the lives of people. Little is much when God is in what we do and say. Do not forget to do little acts of kindness. Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrw-k7bl3KE&index=7&list=PLPhb5GPf3Rfc944An2iDh_kTHkrKhoCED My life of endurance in built in my faith, hard as it may seem, brings happiness. Trials are not a sign of God's cruelty, disfavor and punishment. They come to our lives to test our endurance, shape our character and build our faith in God. Through trials, we draw close to God and see His power at work in our lives. Then, like Job, when we persevere in faith, God rewards us bountifully.
James 5:11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the LORD finally brought about. The LORD is full of compassion and mercy Song-My faith looks up to thee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YX12bTxPlo We use words to express ourselves and to communicate with each other. Words are valuable and powerful. They can leave lasting prints and memories in our lives. People do not reflect on the impact of words before they use them. They engage their tongues before engaging their minds. When words leave our tongues they are gone and can do untold damage. Let us think before we use words. Let us use encouraging and edifying words to build one another in the body of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7syebb7TV5I I can gain advice from the world's wisest people about what direction to take my life, but it is all for nothing if I go in the wrong direction. I need to consider God's plan and follow His direction, and I can have assurance that my path is the right one. His ways and directions are always right.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq4q2N1pCoI Each day we wake to see the rising of the sun, we may face sunshine or storm clouds. If our day is one of storm clouds, let us not give up in despair. God may allow the stormy winds in our lives for a purpose. God is able to provide protection and hope in the stormy winds.
Isaiah 4:6 There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain. Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHKe0_8vY0w&list=RDd14gn6xKF2o&index=16 The cross has united and divided people. Devout religious people make the sign of the cross before and after they do things, wear the cross in chains and rosaries and erect crosses in places of worship. The cross reminds people of the place where Christ paid the sacrifice for our sins. Some call that place; Calvary, Golgotha's Hill or the place of the Skull. One song writer reminds us, " It is the emblem of suffering and shame." Whatever we think of the cross, our understanding, value and appreciation of the cross, it is a part of our christian belief, preaching and heritage. Paul preached the cross. One day, we will exchange the cross for a crown. What does the cross mean to you?
1 Corinthians 1:18 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. Song - The Old Rugged Cross https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGdx7ZkrUJ8 |
