​Finishing our earthly task

Christianity is like running a race. We have a starting and finishing point. Along the way, we will encounter distractions, discouragements and disappointments. We may be tempted to give up along the way. Let us be mindful, to enjoy the crown, we have to complete the race. Jesus is our perfect example, He endured to cross. We have to keep in our minds the heavenly goal that is before, run with endurance and finish our spiritual race. 

Hebrews 12:2
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.


Acts 20:24
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the LORD Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.
