Ministries
Our ministries are designed to help people grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and deepen their understanding of God's Word. Whether you're exploring Christianity for the first time, looking for opportunities to study the Bible, or seeking ways to connect with others, we offer a variety of opportunities for every stage of life.
From small-group Bible studies and children's classes to youth programs and online learning through World Bible School, our goal is to encourage spiritual growth and provide opportunities to learn, serve, and support one another as followers of Christ.
Life Groups
Throughout the week, members and visitors gather in small groups to study the Bible, encourage one another, and spend time in prayer and fellowship. These discussion-based studies provide an opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and explore Scripture in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Topics vary throughout the year and may include studies of individual books of the Bible, important biblical teachings, or lessons on people and events found in Scripture. Participation is encouraged, and everyone is welcome regardless of their level of Bible knowledge.
Most groups meet in private homes across Edmonton, with meeting times varying by location. If you're interested in joining a study group, we'd be happy to help you find one that works for you.
Youth & Young Adults
Our youth and young adult classes are designed to help young people develop a strong foundation of faith and a deeper understanding of Scripture.
Each Sunday, students participate in interactive Bible studies that focus on both topical and textual learning. Topics may include how to study the Bible, key Christian doctrines, the life and teachings of Jesus, and practical applications of biblical principles. Textual studies work through entire books of the Bible, helping students understand Scripture in its context and apply it to everyday life.
The emphasis is on learning, discussion, and spiritual growth in an environment where questions are welcomed and participants are encouraged to engage with God's Word for themselves.
Children
We believe children benefit from learning about God and His Word from an early age. During our Bible classes, children participate in age-appropriate lessons that introduce foundational Bible stories, biblical principles, and Christian values.
Classes are designed to help children learn through engaging lessons, activities, and discussions that encourage curiosity and spiritual growth. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming environment where children can grow in their understanding of God and develop a lasting appreciation for the Bible.
World Bible School
World Bible School (WBS) is an international Bible study program that helps people learn about God through structured, Bible-based lessons. The curriculum covers foundational topics such as God's love and grace, the life and teachings of Jesus, the Gospel message, the church, and Christian living.
Become a Student
If you would like to study the Bible at your own pace, World Bible School provides an excellent opportunity to learn alongside an experienced Bible teacher. Lessons are available online, and in some areas can also be completed through traditional mail correspondence.
Whether you are new to the Bible or looking to deepen your faith, WBS offers a simple and accessible way to explore God's Word and discover what the Scriptures teach.
Become a Teacher
World Bible School also provides opportunities for Christians to serve as volunteer teachers. Teachers work with real students from around the world who are eager to learn more about God and the Bible.
You don't need formal theological training to participate. If you have a knowledge of Scripture, a willingness to encourage others, and a desire to share the Gospel, you can make a meaningful impact through this ministry. WBS provides training, resources, and ongoing support to help teachers serve effectively.
