God is not that interested in graven altars, vast cathedrals or crowded pews. He is more interested in our lives, our devotion and service to him. We are to offer ourselves as living sacrifices to him daily.
God offers comfort to the lonely, to the frightened, He offers faith, to the outcast, He offers refuge, to the desperate, He offers hope and to the lost, He offers salvation
But as for me, I will always have hope, i will praise you more and more
Those things we consider difficulties are often God's opportunities for our greater blessings. We must trust, believe, hope and continue to walk the path he has laid before us.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
God does't mind our endless questions about the perplexing things of life. God is bigger than any question we can ask. He provides answers in the scriptures. Let us search the scriptures, they provide hope and will give us direction.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path
When we need direction, we must trust that the Lord will take our faith, limited as it is, and make something of lasting value out of it. God has a plan for us. He cares about our dilemmas, hears our heartfelt cries, and will answer in ways that will astonish us and fill our hearts with songs of joy.
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
