Words cannot fully explain the love of God. If each human being were a writer by trade, the sky above our writing pad and the ocean the ink; we would write and drain the ocean dry and the love of God would not be fully explained. Yes I am over shadowed by heavenly love.
Romans 5:6-8 6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Why can Jesus help us when temptation strikes? Because he has walked a mile in our shoes and knows how it feels. He knows how strongly sin attracts us.But he never fell prey to it, He can effectively show us how to resist and be victorious. The biggest mistake we make is not calling on him in our hour of temptation. When Satan comes knocking at our door with enticements, just a little talk with Jesus will help keep him away.
Hebrews 2:18 He himself suffered when he was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLnY0oLiTK8 Commitment to service must be fueled not merely by head knowledge but also by heart determination. This commitment should also be based and rooted in our conviction and deep faith in God. When our actions are from a heart of determination and conviction, then service to God will not be a mere formality and a burden, but a labor of love.
Joshua 24:1515 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7l8xK0My1Y I was there when he took my sins and made them his own. Isa 53:4-6 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. I was there when they mocked him. Lk 23:36-38 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. I was there when Mary witnessed the sad death of her son, the saviour of the world. John 19:25-27 25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. I was there when he said, "It is finished". My sins were paid for with his blood. John 19:28-30 28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. 29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
