Our commitment in service to God

Commitment to service must be fueled not merely by head knowledge but also by heart determination. This commitment should also be based and rooted in our conviction and deep faith in God. When our actions are from a heart of determination and conviction, then service to God will not be a mere formality and a burden, but a labor of love.

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”
